Cyber incidents (i.e ransomware, data breaches and IT disruptions) are the top global concern of 2024, ranking the most important risk for the third year in a row.

 

Now that we are going into summertime and most organizations will experience a cybersecurity breach at some point, establishing an incident response process crucial more than ever! This is not the time to think more about where you should go before considering how your sensitive assets will be protected while away!

 

Here are four ways to identify a cybersecurity incident and take actions to stop and prevent it from happening again:

 

1)   Know What is Suspicious

Look for evidence of unauthorized app usage, phishing attack, or compromised user accounts that has you questioning something odd.


2)   Know Who to Contact

Response Incident Teams are the best to take quick action to stopping data losses and providing security incident reporting to keep the Senior Team and those affected in the know.


3)   Have a Recovery Response Plan

Stop, record details, and contact your IT Professional/Team (GCD!) to help guide you with proper action steps.


4)   Notify those affected on resolution

Once the incident event has been controlled and/or resolved, notify those affected and provide guidance on what to stay away from.

    • Project Manager: Copilot ensures every project runs smoothly by creating and assigning tasks, tracking deadlines, and notifying team members when their input is needed. 


2) Agents: custom copilots enable customers to orchestrate and automate business processes.


Custom Copilots that act as agents that will be able to handle the end-to-end order fulfillment process under your direction to:


    • Automate long-running business processes
